Use our new colour labels to organise and visualise your sub-timelines.
From now on, you'll find these vibrant little swatches in your Years editor:

The colours can be used to organise your sub-timelines, as they will always appear ordered by colour. For example, you can decide to put all your location-related sub-timelines in green, and all your names-related sub-timelines in blue.
Where colour labels are further useful is on your Timeline page. By choosing a number of sub-timelines in the side menu, and activating the switch from combo to parallel, you'll now see this:

All your events will now appear in the colours of its chosen sub-timelines, creating parallel paths throughout your chronology. This can be use in a plethora of ways, such as:
Following the different branches of your family tree in your genealogical timeline.
Compare the development of different topics throughout time.
Visually divide your timeline into eras, such as presidencies or the reigns of monarchs.
See multiple peoples' life stories alongside one another.
... and much more! Experiment and find how a colour-labelled timeline can best serve you and the story you want to show.
Good luck time climbing!
Cheers
Gustaf
